Why
choose this trip?
·
Staggered payment scheme
– pay as little or as much as you like, as long as your balance of £720 is clear by the end of
January 2014.
·
We offer exceptional value for
money – we negotiate tirelessly with
our Ski Company to get the best deal for our pupils. Some local schools charge
nearly £950 for a similar resort in the same week and country.
·
Exceptional progress
– Your child will make exceptional progress regardless of their initial ski
ability. On our Easter 2011 and Christmas 2011 trips, most pupils skied between
5 – 7 hours per day which meant our beginners mastered parallel turns and our
experts, black runs in less than two days
·
Positive group dynamics
– we actively encourage all pupils to mix and set our groups accordingly. Your
son or daughter will have the ideal opportunity to meet new people
·
Appropriately trained staff
– we will have two specially trained John Bentley Staff on the trip who will
work 1:1 with your son or daughter on the slopes. Our combined experience now
totals twenty years!
·
This is a wonderful opportunity
for your son or daughter to gain some independence and could maybe be the first
time away from home. Again we actively encourage all pupils to take
responsibility for their learning on the slopes and the management of their
equipment as well as looking after their rooms and feeding themselves!
The price of £720 includes:-
·
All
transfers from JBS to Matrei
·
Full board
accommodation in a three star hotel
·
Three evening
activities which could include a floodlit night ski, fancy dress, ski race,
bowling and swimming
·
Five day
lift pass
·
5 X 5 hours
ski tuition by qualified local instructors
·
6 - 10 hours
of ski supervision by qualified JBS staff (average per student)
·
5 days hire
of skis, boots and poles
·
Comprehensive
insurance cover including redundancy payment protection for parents.
·
Hired Ski
helmet (compulsory for all pupils 16 and under)
·
A
personalised John Bentley School Ski Team hoodie (Pupils choose their name,
number and size)
We
believe that we now offer the best, most comprehensive and easiest way for your
son or daughter to experience skiing and can now offer snowboarding as an
alternative, although there will be an extra cost due to instructor/ pupil
ratios and the difference between hiring ski equipment to snowboarding
equipment which is £42 per student
We
have tried to keep the cost of this year’s ski trip to a minimum, to allow as
many students as possible to participate. If you have difficulties in meeting the costs of the trip please write
in confidence to the Head Teacher, who may be able to offer assistance from the
trip aid fund at your earliest possible convenience.
If you have
any questions please do not hesitate to contact me at school via email or
through reception
Yours Sincerely
Mr Scott
