Rugby Season Summary 2011 – 2012
Congratulations to all the teams for another successful season. Here are the awards as nominated by both Teachers and players
Year Seven
Well done to the year seven team, who have been expertly led by both Calne rugby and Mr Hamill. Again there has been a big influence from the 6th form lads!

Year Eight
Another season un-defeated! We have high hopes for this team next year!

The Year 8’s Player’s player of the season – Harry Marsh

Year Nine
This team has steadily progress and are showing some real signs of potential when they merge with next year’s first team

The Year 9 Player’s player of the season – Tom Cutler

First XV
The Y11/10 team have been nothing short of outstanding in terms of their commitment and energy. The senior players have led extremely well during training and games.
First XV most influential players – Alex Wetton/ Jordan Crook
First XV most improved player – Adam McGarry/ Sean Matthews
First XV Player’s player of the season – Charlie Paget
Captain – Jordan Crook
Special mention must go to all the captains. They have been nothing short of outstanding in terms of organising and checking the team and setting up the pitches. Without their help, it would have made our life much harder in Boys PE!
Outstanding Team of the Year – Year Eight Squad
Undefeated for a second year running – well done lads! They have a solid scrum and lineout and some real attacking players in Jamie Palmer and Jamie Copper.
